先日、フィンランドのトゥルク市の若者たちとオンラインで交流会を行いました。昨年度、進学コースの2年生(現在、3年生)が長野市地球温暖化防止センターが主催する「地球温暖化防止動画コンテスト」に応募して特別賞を受賞しました。この地球温暖化防止を動画にして訴える活動は、長野市と交流のあるフィンランド・トゥルク市の若者たちが提唱したもので（The City of Turku’s Video Contest）、トゥルク市の青年評議会（Turun nuorisovaltuusto）と長野市よりオンライン意見交換会のお誘いをいただくことになりました。地球温暖化防止の啓発動画の制作目的を以下の通り伝えてきました。

We created this video to convey a sense of danger about global warming． Recently there have been more cases of abnormal weather in Japan． It is said abnormal weather is caused by global warming． Actually, Nagano City has been suffering from heavy rain and floods． But, I think that people around us including teenagers and adults feel a sense of danger about climate change． So we made a drama of the world which would be damaged by global warming in the future． We hope that we can share the feeling about global warming． We also have to change our lifestyle to prevent global warming． In order to achieve decarbonized society． I think all of us should each have a sense of danger and act accordingly．
